Tiverton Welcomes Gnarly New Market to Town

A new market is ready to open its doors for the summer season.

The brand new Eat Gnarly Market in Tiverton has been anxiously awaiting its opening day and it has finally arrived. On Saturday, June 14, owner Ester Bishop will make it official and welcome the community into her market.

High Hopes For Local Market

"We are very excited, we received lots of great feedback from people in town saying they can't wait to check us out and how much the town needs a healthy food option," Bishop said.

"We have been working really hard to make this store a place where people can feel confident they are getting only the best," she said.

"Our goal is to bring back trust in your local farmer, where you can hold them accountable for how they are growing and raising our food and I think we can start right in our hometown," Bishop said.

With a goal of providing high-quality products, Ester and her team have worked hard in providing a variety of items for customers to purchase.

"People can expect fresh and frozen meats from our farm and other local farms including chicken, beef, pork and lamb," she said. "We will have grab-and-go food and drinks that will be great for a picnic at the beach."

"There will be hot foods ready to go and in the evenings we will have takeout options including our famous food truck dish, garlic fried chicken," Bishop said.

They'll have all the staples too like eggs, milk and other locally-packaged food and beauty products.

"All produced with the highest standards," according to Bishop.

This small market is about to make big waves in the Ocean State.
