There were three local million dollar winners on Massachusetts Lottery scratch tickets recently.

Seems scratch tickets are pretty lucky for local lottery players right now.

Two Taunton men and one North Attleborough man each recently won a million dollars on theirs. Not too shabby.

Ronald Levesque of North Attleborough hit the $1 million prize in the Ultimate Millions instant game according to the Massachusetts Lottery.

Carlos Chaves of Taunton won his $1 million prize in the lottery's Emerald 8's instant game.

And Demetrios Papadopoulos, also of Taunton, won $1 million in the $1,000,000 Double Jackpot instant ticket game.

All three men chose the one-time cash payout option and will each receive $650,000.

Levesque told the Lottery he plans to use part of his winning to take a trip to Tennessee to visit his son.

Chaves says he will use his to buy a house.

No word on what Papadopoulos will do with his new found money.

Personally I would take a trip to Europe. I've always wanted to do one of those Viking River Cruises after seeing them week in and week out while watching Downton Abbey on PBS.

Just seems like a fun and relaxing way to check out lots of new countries.

And if you were wondering, Levesque bought his ticket at the Stop & Shop on E. Washington St in North Attleborough.

Chaves picked his ticket up at Fall River Gas on Quarry St.

And Papadopoulos at the Stop N Save on County St in Taunton.

All three games played have additional million dollar jackpots to win, if not more.

Feeling lucky?
