Thirsty Thursday Got Wild in Billerica

Guys. A skunk got its entire head stuck inside a can of Bud Light.

Billerica Animal Control posted this photo on Twitter with:

"This guy gives a new definition to the saying “skunked beer.” Amazing it could fit its head in such a small opening. Huge thank you to Tufts Wildlife Center North Grafton for taking him. They informed that he will need to be sedated for the can to be removed and will monitor a few days."

We have absolutely no clue how the little guy managed to get himself in this scenario, but let's not judge him. I mean, we've ALL had one of those nights that goes a little too far and we get ourselves in some hard-to-explain situations, am I right?

I'd be remiss if I didn't bring up the fact that now I understand how the phrase "drunk as a skunk" came to be. It all makes sense now.

In other news, let's try to do a better job of picking up after ourselves so wildlife won't find our trash and then get embarrassed when they end up on the news for stuff like this.
