If you love strawberries, this festival is your one-stop shop.

The great Strawberry Festival of North Dighton is returning to the SouthCoast on Saturday, June 22. Over the years, this popular event has drawn traffic from all over to indulge in sweet, delicious strawberries and also admire local talent and homemade crafts from vendors across the area.

Interested in joining in on the fun? For the third year in a row, the Strawberry Festival will be hosted by Under The Sun Farm located at 1050 Williams Street in Dighton from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Historical Society will be selling strawberry shortcakes and Under the Sun Farm will have U-pick strawberries in the field. Other fun, family-friendly activities include:

  • Hayrides around the farm
  • Music
  • Food
  • Farm animals
  • Family-friendly activities

For anyone who might be interested in joining in on the fun and renting a space during the event, the committee is still accepting local artisans, vendors, and organizations who would like to promote and/or sell their product. The fee to rent a space is $20 to reserve a table, but must contact Chris at (508) 642-1648 or Robin at (508) 944-9721 in advance to do so.
