Three New Airport Grille Dishes to Get You Winter Bod Ready

It may have been a while since you've been to the Airport Grille, and that's okay. They've brought back some of your favorite dishes from the past eight years, and have added a few new dishes that you're going to want to indulge in. And since they know what you love, these new dishes include a LOT of meat and cheese.

Hasselback Potato: Poutine was so Spring of 2018, wasn't it? This style of potato (sometimes referred to as a glorified baked potato) is a giant Russet potato that is thinly sliced halfway through (think of a tiny potato accordion) and then stuffed with salami, prosciutto, cheddar and parmesan cheese. FYI: You'll want to scrape ALL of the ooey-gooey cheese from the bottom of the boat. It's the best part.

Charcuterie Board: Pro-tip, it's pronounced shahr-cute-uh-ree and it is literally a board packed with choice specialty cured meats, cheeses, hummus, fruits, veggies and served up with garlic crostini. The chef said it’s great for two people, but it can easily feed four. Add your favorite bottle of Westport Rivers wine, and this appetizer is fit to be an entire meal for your table. The spread on this bad boy will change with the seasons and there's a chance you won't have the same one twice.

Big Cheese Brulée: Save room after dinner for this New York-styled cheesecake, hand-fired for the smoothest, creamiest cheesecake experience possible. Do the right thing and make it Big Cheese Brulée à la Mode with a generous scoop of ice cream on the side. Could you order it with two spoons? Sure. Do you want to? No.

Of course, Airport Grille's dinner menu has pages of other stuff to choose from, if over-indulgence isn't your thing. If you're swinging through for a lunch, grab a giant burger or some fish tacos. If you just want something small, grab one of their Wine Flights and Petite Tasting Boards, just enough snacks to hold you over for whenever you eat again.
