If you're looking for something fun to do this Saturday, we have something that's sure to be up your alley.

Fairhaven's Homecoming Day includes more than 175 booths of handmade crafts and the best foods from the SouthCoast to indulge in. Visitors can expect live entertainment, an art exhibit and tour at the Unitarian Church, a library tour, and tons of activities for the children, including the famous fire engine rides.

This fair will have you reminiscing about your childhood and when you used to go as a kid. With an energetic feel that brings together people from every walk of life, the Homecoming Day is in its 43rd year.  It's become a summer kickoff celebration, attracting thousands of visitors from all over southeastern Massachusetts and beyond.

The vendors sell a variety of items ranging from clothing, jewelry, carvings, and soaps to nautically-themed accessories because who doesn't need some more beachy signs and pillows laying around the house?

Now if the crafts aren't enough to get you to the event, the food surely will. Last year more than 25 food vendors lined the streets in Fairhaven for this even with foods like; robust strawberry shortcakes, an assortment of gourmet wild game sausages, gator bites, and fried Oreo cookies. Poppin Mad Kettle Corn is often referenced in post-fair conversations.
Additionally, visitors can find lobster rolls, tacos, and burritos, bratwurst with sauerkraut, cotton candy, salads, burgers and hotdogs and so much more.

The Homecoming Day Fair is June 29th 10am-4pm and is event is completely free. Handicap parking is also available. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy great food, and view beautiful art and craft pieces.
