This is my favorite time of year, so anything remotely dealing with getting in the holiday spirit, I'll be all over it. But I think it may have been almost 20 years ago when I last took a Polar Express train ride.

I found two spots that are bringing back their Polar Express rides that I may have to try and sneak onto this holiday season.

I remember getting on the train and thinking I was heading to the North Pole and feeling all the bumps along the way. I really think every kid should experience one of these.

So where are they doing the Polar Express rides this year and when do they start? Great question. Here is what I was able to dig up.

Jordan's Furniture has its Polar Express 4D experience starting on Saturday, November 23. Tickets are only $7 and can only be purchased the same day. I have a feeling this will get pretty busy closer to the holiday, so make sure you take the kids early. The actual experience takes about 20 minutes but will be so worth it.

The other attraction I found was the Polar Express Train Ride at Blackstone Valley. They open their excursion on Saturday, November 15. It's located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. This attraction is a bit longer, lasting about 90 minutes. I'm suggesting you take the slightly older kids who can sit a little longer. There are several different types of experiences you can purchase, so they allow you to pre-purchase your tickets online.

You better believe I'll be stopping by both of these. Nothing gets you into the holiday spirit like putting yourself right in the middle of it all.
