The New Mattapoisett Fire Station is Hosting a Family Fun Open House Night

The town of Mattapoisett will be buzzing on Thursday night for the Mattapoisett Fire Department open house event.

Join the fire crew on Thursday, October 12th from 6 PM to 8 PM for family fun for the entire family. When it comes to fire safety, the Mattapoisett Fire Team is all about teaching their community the right and wrong ways of dealing with a fire situation.

If you have yet to visit the new fire station on Route 6, this is the perfect opportunity.

Here's what you can look forward to:

  • Fire apparatus on display
  • Fire prevention activites
  • Fire station tour
  • Jaws of life demonstration
  • Live fire extinguisher demonstration
  • Meet 'Sparky' the Fire Dog

There will also be plenty of pizza, hot dogs, and refreshments thanks to the Friends of Jack Foundation and while you're here, they'd love you to meet their friendly crew of firefighters.

As a bonus, the weather is looking great so bring the family and the kids, all are welcome.
