They are all the rage but are they dangerous also?

Some say yes, some say it depends on the brand of hoverboad you purchase.  Recent reports say hoverboards are catching fire while charging the lithium batteries the boards require.  Timothy Cade of Alabama has a video on youtube showing his hoverboard bursting into flames. A Mom in Louisiana bought one for her 12-year old son.  When they plugged it into the wall to charge it, sparks flew and a full fledged fire ripped through their home.  Thankfully, she and her son escaped the house and are ok.  Yikes, all for the love of a hoverboard I guess!
