The Countdown Is On To Sharon’s Walk

If, like most of us, you're a last-minute person, the time has come to sign-up for next Sunday's Sharon's Walk.   You can do it right here at FUN107.com.   And not only does the $20 dollar registration fee help support the wonderful work at Center For Cancer Care in Fairhaven, it allows you to be a part of something much larger than just the 5K walk itself.   Beginning at 9am next Sunday, Fort Taber in New Bedford will be bustling with fun family activities.   You'll have a chance to win prizes, shop for some great bargains, have a tarot card reading, and keep the kids entertained as well.   On Tuesday, Marisol's Cafe on State Road in Dartmouth will host a registration day.

Whoever registers a Marisol's between 2:30 and 7pm will enjoy a free cup of coffee.   I just know that our beloved Sharon and her mom, Elaine Fogaren will be smiling down on all of us next Sunday, the 30th.   We will be making one of her dreams come true, as well as helping to make life so much better for our Southcoast neighbors who are surviving cancer.
