Children’s Holiday Parade in Fall River Searching for Musical Performers
Come one, come all. The holidays are kicking off with a festive parade in Fall River, hosted by Greater Fall River RE-CREATION.
The 38th annual parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 3, 1 p.m. The total route of the parade will be around one mile, starting from Kennedy Park and traveling down South Main Street. Thousands come out to watch.
This year, the non-profit is searching for bands, music groups, local artists and singers who are interested in joining the fun while also participating in the parade. What better way to spread the holiday cheer than to sing loud for all in Fall River to hear?
All inquiries can be requested and sent to Robert O'Melia, who is assisting with parade coordination for the non-profit, at romelia@gfrrec.org. From there, he'll send along an electronic parade form to fill out and return as soon as possible.
The parade also will feature marching bands, floats and lively music to get you in the holiday spirit.
