Listen up Boys and Ghouls, there's a spooky event right around the corner that's just in time for Halloween.

On October 27th, Timothy Pavao of Fall River is bringing back the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat event, presented by Mass Wagens and JTONE, at Dorothy Cox, located at 100 Griffin Street in Fall River. The family-friendly Halloween celebration will run from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and promises an afternoon filled with candy, creativity, and community spirit.

Last year’s turnout was impressive, with nearly 500 kids arriving to fill their bags with candy, but only 10 trunks were available to hand out treats. This year, Pavao is hoping for even more businesses, organizations, and local residents to step up and decorate their vehicles, creating a fun and festive atmosphere for the children.

“This event is really for the kids,” said Pavao. “I want them to have a great time, and I’m hoping more trunk-or-treaters will come out this year so that everyone can enjoy the experience.”

One of the highlights of the event will be the trophy competition, where vehicles can compete in three categories: Best Decorated Trunk, Scariest Trunk, and All-Around Favorite. But the best part? The kids will be the judges, selecting their favorite decorated trunks and deciding the winners.

With free admission, tons of candy, and a chance to end the car season in a spooktacular way, this year’s Trunk or Treat is set to be a Halloween highlight. Participants are encouraged to get creative with their costumes, trunk decorations, and candy distribution, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.

All vehicles are welcome, and Pavao invites local businesses and organizations to join in on the fun by decorating a trunk and connecting with the community. To get involved or for more information, email masswagens@gmail.com.
