You Can Climb a Rock Wall at This Fun Fall River Block Party
Fall River is gearing up for an event that promises fun, festivities and a strong sense of community.
Greater Fall River Re-Creation's third annual Community Block Party is set for Saturday, May 18, noon to 3 p.m., at 45 Rock St. The event is sponsored by the Gun Violence Prevention Program.
Families, friends, and folks from all walks of life are encouraged to attend and experience some unity.
It sounds like there will be something for everyone: a rock wall, face painting, temporary tattoos and spray paint art, for starters. Additionally, talented caricaturists will be on hand drawing up complimentary cartoon portraits for attendees to take home.
One of the highlights is the opportunity for local organizations and businesses to showcase their services and resources. Community members can explore resource tables featuring valuable information and support from various groups within and around Fall River.
To ensure the safety and security of all attendees, Rock Street will be closed to traffic during the event.
