WAREHAM - The student accused of making threats against Wareham schools has been ordered held without bail.

Prosecutors say the 17-year-old male, a student at Wareham High School, sent a threatening email on July 10 to a school administrator, targeting students and staff at the High School and Middle School in the town. The email triggered the evacuation of the schools during the summer session, with multiple law enforcement agencies responding to ensure safety in the buildings.

A judge in Brockton Juvenile Court ordered that the teen be held without bail for 120 days after his dangerousness hearing on Wednesday.

The teenager is due back in court on March 15.
