
Taunton Police Investigating Sunday Night Shooting
TAUNTON (WBSM) — Police in Taunton are investigating after a man was shot Sunday evening.
According to Police Chief Edward Walsh, the department received a report at about 10:56 p.m. on June 15 of a man who had been shot on East Britannia Street.
Walsh said that shortly after officers arrived at the scene, the 27-year-old victim showed up at Morton Hospital in Taunton seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Walsh said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Walsh said the investigation into the shooting remains active and ongoing, but that the department “does not believe there to be an ongoing threat to public safety.”
