Taunton Man Arrested in Connection to Cape Cod Stabbing Murder
TAUNTON — A Taunton man has been arrested on murder charges in connection to the fatal stabbing of a Falmouth teen on Cape Cod over the weekend.
The Cape and Islands District Attorney's office said 22-year-old Adrian Black was arrested Monday on murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charges in the killing of 19-year-old Milteer Hendricks in Falmouth on Saturday.
Black is expected to be arraigned at Falmouth District Court Tuesday morning.
Falmouth police received a 911 call reporting a possible stabbing at the Gosnold Grove Apartments at 364 East Falmouth Highway at around 4:44 p.m. Saturday, June 10.
The D.A.'s office said officers arrived to find Hendricks bleeding from what appeared to be a stab wound.
He was taken to Falmouth Hospital before being medflighted to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where he was pronounced dead on Sunday morning.
State and Falmouth police investigating the case received an arrest warrant for Black, and he was taken into custody by law enforcement authorities in Taunton.
