Help us find Jerry!

A Taunton woman is asking for the community’s help in finding her beloved Japanese potbelly pig that escaped from her home while moving last week.

He was recently spotted in town, but Jerry the pig is still on the loose and Angela Breen is praying for his safe return home.

Last week, he was moved to a new pen at Deep Pond Farm and Stables with his brother to give them more space to roam and live a happy, pig lifestyle.

During the move, poor Jerry escaped.

Breen shared the heartbreaking news online in hopes that someone in the neighborhood had found him.

“We’ve been searching but he may have left the farm area…My heart is shattered after this day of events,” she said.

A few days later, Breen shared Jerry was spotted by Viking Street and Middleboro Avenue but the sighting was not confirmed.

“It means everything to me to get him home," said Breen. "I haven't slept or anything in over a week (and) I walk miles and miles every day...He's very special to me and I will be lost if he doesn't make it home safe and sound."

Jerry is described as “food motivated” and Breen hopes to guide Jerry back to the farm safely with the help of the Taunton community.

Those with any information about Jerry are encouraged to contact Taunton Animal Control at 508-822-1463 or Deep Pond Farm and Stables at 508-738-0757.

Let's get Jerry home.
