When I saw this story this morning, I couldn't believe my eyes. Really? We might be able to take back a text before the recipient has a chance to read it?

Take back that text. It's what many of us have wished for at some point in time. And soon enough it could be a reality. Apple is said to be testing the feature for its next software update. It would let iPhone users retract and take back messages, but not secretly. The sender and recipient would be notified. But who cares, right? I mean, the biggest thing is to be able to completely erase that message you sent but then immediately regret.

Other possible new features include the little dots when someone in a group chat is typing and the ability to tag in a group message.

Apple typically releases updates in the fall, so we will have to wait a bit for these new and exciting features.
