West Place Animal Sanctuary

Erna celebrated her 17th birthday Sunday, and she's the last of West Place’s original farm animal rescues. Here's how you can give her a birthday present.

Before New England hibernates for the winter, an animal sanctuary is inviting the community to experience its grounds and shop small this holiday season.

West Place Animal Sanctuary is the only New England non-profit finalist in the Honoree Category. They could win a customized Land Rover Defender 130 with our help.

Enjoy an interactive and educational guided tour of the sanctuary, and meet the rescue animals who call West Place home. All proceeds go directly to the farm.

The most difficult part of the holiday season for me is always taking down the Christmas tree. I love seeing all the family ornaments, love sitting at night by the soft glow of the lights and parting with all of that really means the season is over...

With the support of dedicated volunteers and donors, West Place Animal Sanctuary in Tiverton provides refuge to farm animals, wildlife, and lost dogs.
