Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary

Mass Audubon will be opening a new All Persons Trail on July 21 at Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in South Dartmouth that will be accessible to people of all abilities.

Six miles of trails that are engulfed by rich wetlands, shorelines, and forest uplands are right here in the backyard of the SouthCoast.

When done, the trail will connect all three of the trail systems so visitors can enjoy a roughly 9-mile round-trip hike.

Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting volunteer “Trail Blazers” days every Friday.
