Support Young Entrepreneurs at New Bedford’s Dream Makers’ Market
Buy Black NB is bringing back their Dream Makers' Market in support of local children and teens this summer.
It's a chance for young makers and entrepreneurs to display and sell their crafts and for the local community to support these young creative minds.
And the event is free to attend.
While most of us have attended local vendor markets where business have booths and displays, the Dream Makers' Market features only youth vendors selling crafts, artwork, jewelry and more.
The free event comes to Custom House Square in Downtown New Bedford on Thursday July 13 from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. and will feature 20 local, young and talented makers.
It's part of the Kids Rule AHA! Night that itself features live music and the Art Mobile offered by the New Bedford Art Museum.
It's a fantastic night of fun for the whole family in downtown New Bedford put together by Buy Black NB and supported by grant-funded by First Citizens Federal Credit Union and Senator Montigny’s Children’s Fund.
Senator Montigny says his Children's Fund "was designed to empower underserved youth in our city and this program is an absolute home run.”
You can enjoy this home run event for yourself Thursday July 13 in downtown New Bedford and head back throughout the summer for more AHA! Nights in the city.
