Shark diving has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember and now I have the chance to catch the boat right out of Fairhaven!

Bounty Hunter Shark Adventures offers departures from Fairhaven, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Chatham. The custom-built, super-strong cage is designed to hold two people at a time, so you can dive with a shark buddy while you meet other shark buddies. If you aren't so sure about actually getting in the cage in the water, you can watch from the cockpit which also offers incredible views of the action.

If you are leaving from Fairhaven, the boat departs at 8 a.m., do your dive, and return to port between 2-3 p.m. The boat takes you just about 25 miles (90 minutes) offshore to get the best view of the sharks. They recommend you bring a suit, sunscreen, dry clothes, and a light hoodie or jacket. If you are 21+, you can drink (responsibly) on the boat - which is great news for people who might need a little extra liquid courage. You can see a list of all the FAQ here.

So what kind of sharks can you expect to see? Bounty Hunter says they typically see Blue sharks (they are electric blue!), Mako sharks, Threshers, and even Great Whites. SIGN ME UP!
