The City of New Bedford and the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Beaches will be starting up it's first annual Summer Beach Volleyball League!

The league will be open to men, women and co-ed teams. Depending on sign up numbers, they may be able to have multiple leagues and/or divisions.

There are two league options: Men's Open/Women's Open and a Co-ed Open. All adult ages welcomed. Each league will be located at East Beach, on East Rodney French Boulevard in New Bedford.

In addition to volleyball, there will also be youth-oriented baseball, tennis, dodgeball, basketball and lacrosse clinics throughout the summer.

If you have any questions regarding any of these sports clinics, please contact the Department of Parks, Recreation and Beaches, or you can contact Alex Bettencourt at alex.bettencourt@newbedford-ma.gov.
