Stoughton Bar Pizza Favorite Closes Mondays Due to Short Staffing
Short staffing issues have been hitting businesses all across the country pretty hard since the beginning of COVID, and in many cases, they don't seem to be getting much better.
The staff at a popular pizza spot in Stoughton has been feeling the effects of being short-handed for months. Town Spa Pizza on Washington Street took to its Facebook page on Tuesday evening, commending its employees for their hard work throughout the past year and a half.
"Our kitchen staff has been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic," Town Spa wrote on its Facebook page. "They can't keep running at the pace they have been, and we cannot operate efficiently without them."
Town Spa made the decision to put their staff, and their resulting delicious creations, first by announcing that the restaurant will officially be closed on Mondays, starting August 23.
"We hope this will help alleviate some of the stress on our devoted staff," Town Spa wrote. "We have been shorthanded for months and feel this is the best decision to provide some temporary relief [and] continue to ensure quality food and service to our valued customers."
Town Spa is widely regarded by South Shore bar pizza lovers as one of the best, if not the best, spots in Massachusetts to grab a bar pizza. Other top contenders from members of the South Shore Bar Pizza community on Facebook are Lynwood Cafe in Randolph and Cape Cod Cafe in Brockton, both of which are open on Mondays.
