If you've bought frozen chicken from Stop & Shop recently, you might need to throw it away.

Stop & Shop has recalled certain Oven Cravers frozen, raw stuffed and breaded chicken products due to possible salmonella contamination.

The exact products being recalled are:

  • Oven Cravers Chicken Parmesan, 10 oz., UPC 4542153140 with a best by date between October 29, 2016 and December 16, 2016 and an establishment number of “P-1358” inside the USDA mark of inspection
  • Oven Cravers Chicken Cordon Bleu, 10 oz., UPC 4542141512 with a best by date between October 29, 2016 and December 16, 2016 and an establishment number of “P-1358” inside the USDA mark of inspection
  • Oven Cravers Broccoli and Cheese Chicken, 10 oz., UPC 4542145512 with a best by date between October 29, 2016 and December 16, 2016 and an establishment number of “P-1358” inside the USDA mark of inspection

The company says no cases of salmonella poisoning from consuming these products have been reported and are asking anyone who purchased these products to throw them away.

Consumers can bring their receipts to the Stop & Shop nearest them for a full refund.

If you think you may have eaten these chicken products, salmonella presents itself with symptoms which include diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever. It can be life-threatening to those with weakened immune systems.
