Like many, I find myself at the grocery quite often. I frequent them all: Market Basket, Stop & Shop, Shaw's, you name it.

There's routine to each trip. You grab the bags out of the trunk of the car, list in hand and then the part I dread the most: selecting a shopping cart from the collection of mangled, rusty, squeaky carriages.

When you finally get one dislodged, another journey begins: controlling it.

I've had carts with wheels totally stripped down to the metal, a cart that pulls to one direction, some that randomly stop in the middle of an aisle because the wheel locks for no reason – all of which can make a quick trip to the grocery store a frustrating one.

Not to mention the sounds some carts make. The screech and screams of the wheels are basically saying "hello everyone, I'm here! Now it's time to turn! Everyone look at me going down the aisle!" Ridiculous.

I noticed it right away. The color of the handle was clean and crisp, the metal was a different shade of grey and the smooth, steady push of the shopping cart made gathering the groceries so enjoyable.
