The Sound Of Music Is Here!

Do you have fond memories as a child of watching The Sound of Music at home with your family every year? I do!

My brothers and sisters and I would gather in the living room to watch the movie version on a Sunday night on ABC. After everyone was settled, my mom would bring in the popcorn along with homemade lemonade for us to drink. Oh, life was good!

Last Friday, my husband surprised me with tickets to go see The Sound of Music on stage that evening at 7 p.m. at the Zeiterion Preforming Arts Center. I absolutely enjoyed this play! The New Bedford Festival Theatre gave a wonderful performance for the crowd. If you were unable to attend do to other obligations, don't worry. Tickets are still available for their next performances on July 31-August 3, 2014.
