A Somerset palm reader is in trouble after police say she tricked an unsuspecting victim into giving her large amounts of money and household goods, after telling her that her daughter was possessed by a demon.

The owner of Tracy's Psychic Palm Reader on County Street in Somerset was arraigned Monday in Fall River District Court.

Somerset Police say that 37-year-old Tracey Milanovich convinced the victim that "her daughter was possessed by a demon, and that cash and household items were needed in order to banish the spirit from her daughter." The victim apparently forked over $71,000 in cash to have Milanovich help her with the demon problem in her family, then bought the psychic bedding and towels among other household items.

The investigation into Tracy's Psychic Palm Reader began after the victim approached police and shared her story. Police are looking to speak to anyone else who thinks they may have been tricked by Milanovich. Victims are encouraged to call (508) 679-2138 and ask for Officer Donald Cormier.

Milanovich faces six charges for obtaining property over $250 by trickery, larceny over $1200, and intimidation of a witness.

Advertisement on Tracy's Facebook page touted "jinx removal" and proclaimed that "healing is not an overnight process, it is a daily cleansing of pain. It is a daily healing of your life."

Another meme asked the question, "Do you feel sick of liveing (sic) the same day over and over want to no (sic) when will there be a change? Text for the answers you need."

A call placed to the County Street palm reader went directly to voicemail. There was no word on whether she was operating her business as usual today.
