The Taunton Gazette reported a small plane crash that happened in Berkley, MA earlier today.

Emergency personnel were on scene where the plane crashed at Myricks Airport in Berkley around 1045 this morning.  The pilot, 78-year-old Murray Randall, who actually lives next to the airport and owns it, was the only occupant in the plane.   He was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries.

A friend of the pilot's, commented that it wasn't a lack of experience that caused the crash, as he says, "Randall has thousands upon thousands of hours behind the controls of aircraft."  He continued, "He's a very safe pilot.  Very professional."

Hopefully Mr. Randall's injuries are minor in nature and he's released from the hospital very soon.
