For the last week or so I've been seeing a super cute baby bunny nibbling its way across my yard.

He (or she) seems to be out at all times of the day, eating all sorts of grass, clover, and flowers, and every time I see it, I want to keep it and cuddle it.

My daughters think I'm nuts, but something about seeing a bunny makes me want to cuddle a bunny. And though this wild bunny may not be so into it, I'll bet some of the adoptable bunnies from the Potter League for Animals in Middletown, Rhode Island would let me.

Right now at the Potter League, there are so many bunnies up for adoption that the animal shelter is hosting its Small Animal Adoption Event with discounted adoption fees through May 7.

So if you have wanted to get a guinea pig, hamster or bunny, then this is the event for you.

Not surprising that spring would bring about lots of new small animals – you know how those bunnies can be – and for families looking to get a pet that isn't necessarily going to need walks and a ton of attention, these smaller guys could be the place to start.

You can scope out some of the adorable adoptables on the Potter League website and then book an appointment to pick out the one that you like best.

If you do that before May 7, you can also take advantage of the discounted adoption fee offer from the Potter League for Animals.

It's probably a much better way of getting yourself some bunny cuddles than hunting down a baby bunny in your own backyard.
