Shakira and Jennifer Lopez put on an incredible halftime show at Sunday's Super Bowl. I thought they were both ah-mazing. I seriously cannot pick one who I think was better than the other. They both killed it.

Shakira opened the halftime show in a cute red number which mimics her outfit when she played the animated character Gazelle from the movie Utopia. She looked amazing and she sang a medley of all her hits. Her guitar came out, she also belly-danced and crowd-surfed and it was everything. Man, that girl can move.

Then it was J. Lo's turn, and look out! She was not going to be outdone and she did not disappoint. Jennifer also did a medley of her songs and showed off the pole dancing skills she perfected for her performance in the movie Hustlers. She was joined on stage by a few dozen young dancers all dressed in white and her talented daughter Emme made her Super Bowl halftime show debut and sang with mom for about a minute towards the end of the performance.

Both Shakira and Jennifer put all they had into their performances and you could just feel the level of emotions they poured into this show. It was one of those shows where I was afraid to blink because I didn't want to miss one second of it. Just before they took to the halftime show stage, Jennifer posted a picture of her and Shakira on her Instagram and just said how excited she was that it was they were doing this show together.

How cool that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson opened up the Super Bowl by announcing the two teams, and he did with his own unique style.

Demi Lovato tweeted on February 7, 2010, the then 17-year-old Disney star wrote, "One day, I'm gonna sing the national anthem at a Super Bowl. Onnee dayyy...." Turns out her goal totally came true.

Oh, and get this, it wasn't Demi who revealed this amazing discovery. It was her manager Scooter Braun who dug it up and pointed it out on Sunday, but fans gave her a pass because she was probably too busy prepping for her big performance. Posting on Sunday, Scooter captioned against a screengrab of the decade-old tweet, "10 years later. Dreams do come true." The second photo in the slideshow really hammers in the point, as it's the NFL poster advertising Lovato's upcoming anthem performance.

Oh, and by the way, Demi killed it. Her vocals are truly amazing and I thought she looked beautiful all in white.
