With this year’s Super Bow halftime show buzz surrounding Bad Bunny bringing strong Spanish flavor to the world’s biggest stage, it got some folks on the SouthCoast thinking: when do the Portuguese get their turn?

Enter Fall River’s own Portuguese music legend Marc Dennis to the chat.

A playful mock poster created by local DJ Matt Oliveira, better known as DJ Matty O, has been making the rounds online, teasing Dennis as next year’s halftime headliner. The poster jokingly promises he’ll open with his hit “Superman” and possibly fly into the stadium superhero-style.

Honestly, I'm here for it.

Marc Dennis Leaned Right Into the Halftime Show Joke

Dennis responded in mostly Portuguese, saying he’s ready – with the exception of “Superman,” of course, which stays English, just like the song.

A Portuguese Halftime Show? Why Not.

Honestly, if Bad Bunny can bring Spanish influence to the halftime show, why couldn’t Portuguese artists take a crack at it?

Imagine this: internationally beloved “Portuguese Princess” Nelly Furtado headlining, Marc Dennis jumping in for a "Superman" moment, and suddenly you’ve got a full-blown stadium festa.

Realistic? Possibly. Fun to picture? Absolutely.
