You've got a Lemonade Day Business Plan and now it's time to set up shop! Here are some of the things to keep in mind when setting up your Lemonade Stand on May 7th.

1. Think about what kind of stand is right for your location. A big stand might not be easy to transport if you need to bring your supplies from home to another location.  Plus, if there isn't a whole lot of room at your location, you'll want to think about how much space you'll need vs. how much space there really is.

2. Think about using stuff you already own or can borrow. If you don't have a lot of money to invest into your stand, that's okay!  You can borrow items like a wagon or a folding table from friends and family and build your stand around that. Check out out Pinterest board here for ideas on how you can make a great stand out of stuff you may already have.

3. Start-Up Supplies. Besides the items that you can borrow, you'll also need lemonade supplies.  Make sure you've found the best bargain for your bagged ice, cups, cleaning wipes, napkins and all the other stuff you'll need to keep your stand clean and safe. Remember: Your backpack came with a Starter Supply Kit coupon for Frugal Franks so the stuff you need can be purchased for a low price.

4. Brand Your Stand!  A stand can do 1 of 2 things: It can make people want to come near you and buy your stuff or it can make them walk as far away as possible. Use your creativity to attract customers to your stand. Make flyers, posters, a song & dance and even a mini website!  Work with an adult to make your own custom Lemonade Day Stand website and make sure everyone knows where they can find your lemonade!

5. Be Safe!  Your backpack included an official Lemonade Day Stand sign. Make sure you hang it where people can see so they know you're a registered participant of our program. We'll be directing folks to buy lemonade only from our official stands because we know that you've taken the time to follow the Health Department Guidelines and are providing good customer service to our community.
