An educational nonprofit in Dartmouth is hosting its first-ever “Farmraiser” on Saturday, April 6th.

Round the Bend Farm, a Center for Restorative Community, has been providing a safe place for exploration and creating meaningful impact for over ten years, and on April 6th, it aims to raise funds for its three main programs: education, farm, and its partner, food donation and education program, Manifest Love.

What Is Round the Bend Farm?

Round the Bend Farm in Dartmouth is a nonprofit organization that aims to educate the public on how to live a lifestyle that respects and works with the environment, using the resources offered by nature for their “highest good.”

Fun 107 spoke with the executive director, Desa VanLaarhoven, last year about the nonprofit's efforts.

“We run on the values of hope and abundance,” she said.

Round the Bend believes in valuing diversity, modeling nature, and redefining wealth, and through those values, it brings people closer to the rich environment around them.

“We are devoted to the global paradigm shift toward hope and abundance by valuing diversity, modeling nature, and redefining wealth,” said Round the Bend.

The Seeds We Sow: RTB’s First Farmraiser

On Saturday, April 6th, Round the Bend invites the community to its 115-acre farm for an evening of good food and good company to raise funds for its programs.

Last year, the farm launched its Manifest Love food truck, to provide healthy food options to needy families. The farmraiser will help support Manifest Love, as well as the farm's educational tools and the farm itself.

Pet baby goats, experience a farm tour, and enjoy a farm-fresh, buffet-style dinner followed by dessert and s’mores. There will also be a silent auction and live music.

All money raised will benefit Round the Bend farm’s initiative to cultivate, educate, and empower.

Tickets to The Seeds We Sow are available online.
