Road Trip Worthy: Riverside Retreat in the Berkshires
Want to enjoy fresh mountain air and hikes through the Berkshires but skip sleeping in a tent? This hotel is for you.
Nestled on the banks of the Hoosic River in the Berkshires city of North Adams is a retreat that makes you feel like you are sleeping in the tree tops around you.
TOURISTS is just about a year old, but has been getting rave reviews. And after scoping out a few photos, it is no wonder why,
The place is amazing and every room makes you feel like you are staying in a treehouse.
The hotel ranges from simple rooms with king size beds and these amazing daybed nooks overlooking the trees to full on suites with king sizes bed, private decks, living rooms, dining spaces and kitchenettes.
Every room is designed with nature and relaxation in mind and the whole place just has a serious laid back vibe.
There's also breakfast and dinner served with snacks available too.
And even a lounge inside an 1813 farmhouse on the property that serves up evening drinks for those who want to hang out with other vacationers.
But honestly with all of that, the one thing that made me want to stay here more than anything was this picture of a woman curled up in the windowside book nook with freshly fallen snow on the ground. I want to be in that book nook so bad!
There's also a super cool rope bridge on the property.
Hiking in the Berkshires.
And even poolside yoga in the summer.
Oh yeah, dogs are welcome too.
I'm booking my next vacation here for sure.
