Rhode Island Car Shows Holiday Spirit
A Rhode Island man decked out his car for the holidays and it has now become a seasonal staple.
We love when our neighbors show their holiday spirit but decking out your car is next level. That's exactly what this North Providence man has been doing for years, and the locals are loving it.
With so many people going through difficult times right now, it's nice to see people doing what brings them joy, and while they are at it, bringing a smile to others.
Dave Glayman is the driver of of this 1991 Toyota Camry. The car is over 30 years old and stills runs well, and while Glayman said their are a few things he could fix up with duct tape, it's working just fine.
Glayman also said there is over $3,000 in reflective tape on the car.
Many would call this a bit much but you can't help but smile and give a nod to the dedication this guy has. Not only does he keep this up year after year, but he even will dress up at the Grinch and bring his dog along for the ride.
I have yet to see this guy driving around but I can only imagine that it's probably pretty distracting. What happens if he gets pulled over? Are they really going to give this guy a tickets for too much holiday spirit?
What did you see this holiday season that you couldn't help but take a second look and smile?
