Fall River Puppy is Full of Life and Full of Love [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Animals all over the SouthCoast are living in shelters, waiting patiently for someone to take them home for good. Wet Nose Wednesday on Fun 107 is dedicated to these deserving animals.
Thanks to the help of shelters on the SouthCoast, we highlight an animal each week that is up for adoption in hopes that their future family is listening. This week, the spotlight is on Abby, a 15-week-old puppy living with her brothers and sisters at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.
Abby is a shepherd/lab mix and is 22 pounds of pure joy. She has three other puppy siblings and spends a lot of her time playing with them.
“They are rough-and-tumble pups,” said Arianna Silva, director of the shelter. “They love to be around people and each other, and their new family should have lots of time and space for them.”
Abby is a very well-behaved puppy, but like all puppies, she has some training to do.
The shelter recommends that her new family keep up with her training with housebreaking and basic commands.
Abby would be great with families with kids over 10-12 years of age, merely because of her size and playfulness. She is also great with other animals. The best part about puppies is being able to acclimate them to new surroundings, so if you have a four-legged friend already, it won’t be long before Abby consider them her best friend.
Does Abby sound like a good fit for your family? Visit the Forever Paws website and schedule a play date with them. Families can also contact Arianna Silva by emailing her at asilva@foreverpaws.com.
