Providence Pizzeria Hosts Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick recently went through what almost every parent experiences as their children grow up; the college drop-off.

James Broderick is attending Brown University this year and both of his parents accompanied him as he gets set up at the school. But a college drop-off day would not be complete without grabbing a bite to eat with your parents before their final goodbyes. If you're not dining on campus, you find a local pizzeria to celebrate the next chapter of a kid's life.

Providence-based restaurant, figidini welcomed the stars and the student for dinner last week. It was a special moment for everyone there. Figidini posted about the interaction on the Facebook page.

"It was an absolute pleasure to serve you Sarah Jessica Parker and your family last night! You all were so kind and went out of your way to let us know how special figidini was for your dining experience! Good luck to you James Broderick starting at Brown University this year!"

These parents will surely cherish their trip to this Providence pizzeria on this memorable day and possibly return while visiting with their son at school. James is starting school in Providence while Sarah Jessica Parker will be filming scenes for the long-awaited sequel to Hocus Pocus in the city this fall. Perhaps it won't be too long before mom stops by and takes James out for another bite to eat in Providence.

Hocus Pocus 2 is looking for local extras to film in Providence and surrounding areas from October through December.
