Police Still Searching For Person Who Pushed Beagle Out Of Minivan In Taunton
A beagle puppy is said to be recovering after being pushed from a mini-van and left near a dump in Taunton.
According to ABC6 the puppy took nearly three days to be brought in by Animal Control because it kept wandering between Taunton and Raynham searching for its home.
Luckily they were able to take the puppy to the Taunton Animal Shelter where she has reportedly been doing amazing.
The one-year-old puppy had no tags and still has not been given a name by Animal Control.
Police say she was dumped from a black minivan, but the person who saw the incident did not get a license plate.
Whoever did dump the beagle puppy will be facing animal cruelty charges if they are caught.
Officers add that this is the third beagle puppy to be dumped in the same spot in the last six months.
Anyone interested in adopting the pup will have to wait a bit longer.
She will remain at the Taunton Animal Shelter for another week and will have her shots updated before she is put up for adoption.
