Police Seek Taunton Bank Robber

Taunton Police are asking the public for help in finding the man who robbed a Mechanics Cooperative Bank Tuesday afternoon.

In a post on Facebook, Taunton police shared the photo of a man wanted in connection with the robbery of the Mechanics Cooperative Bank at 75 County St in Taunton.

Officers responded to a hold up alarm at the bank, but the man fled and ran south down County St.

The area was searched, but the man was not located.

He is described as a white male in his late 20's/early 30's. He is said to be about 5'10" with slim build and is missing a bottom front tooth.

He was wearing a white under armor sleeveless shirt with a gray back, gray basketball shorts, a white baseball cap and sunglasses.
