The Plymouth Waterfront Festival is back at the end of August for just one day this year, so you'll want to plan ahead for it.

At the end of each summer, the best vendors, shops, food, games, and entertainment take over the Plymouth waterfront. The Plymouth Waterfront Festival used to be a two-day event but is now just one day, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This year's festival will include:

–210-plus crafter/vendor booth spaces

–30-plus food trucks and food vendors

–14th Annual Motor Heads Cruise-In Car Show

–Ducky Dash Race

–Kids FUN Zone featuring games, inflatables and more.

–Two stages of live entertainment for the entire day.

To give you an idea of how big this festival is, there are 70,000 people of Facebook who've clicked "interested in going" and already more than 3,000 who say they are attending on Saturday, August 24.

The car show alone is one of the biggest in New England and probably the Northeast. And with more than 30 different food trucks, they'll have authentic foods for everyone's taste.

This is a festival that I've gone to since I was a kid and now my children look forward to it each year. I hate that they are "too big" for the FUN Zone rides, but they still love the games and the inflatables. What kid doesn't?
