Plymouth Buzzing As Award-Winning Actress Films Scenes For New Movie
Movie buffs in Plymouth were quick to notice an award-winning actress among them this week.
Yet another big screen feature film is using Massachusetts as it's primary filming location and the town is definitely excited.
Last summer, Netflix was in Chatham to make their miniseries adaption of Elin Hilderbrand's 'The Perfect Couple.' Now the beach is the backdrop once again for a new drama called 'At The Sea.'

The movie is from Hungarian director Kornel Mundruczó and tells the story of a woman who goes to live at her parents beach house after leaving rehab and how she learns to readjust to her new life without her career.
The main character, Laura, is played by Amy Adams, who has already been spotted in town filming scenes for the new movie.

Locals captured Adams in photos and videos that have been shared on Facebook again and again and Plymouth business owners sound very excited for the new movie to be taking over the town for a while.
Though Deadline.com reported the movie's filming to be in Boston and Marshfield, it seems like several scenes will be set in Plymouth.

The new movie also stars Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), Jenny Slate (SNL), Daniel Levy (Schitt's Creek), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) and Rainn Wilson (The Office).
None of the other actors have been seen in Plymouth for filming yet, but Goldstein was spotted by JustJared.com filming in Marshfield, so maybe he'll make it to Plymouth soon as well.
For now, fans of Adams or those who like seeing how movie magic happens can head to Plymouth themselves and try to catch a glimpse of the action.
