Members of the Buttonwood Park Zoo were invited to meet the park's newest residents Monday night, two North American River Otter pups.

The crowd was eager to meet the little tykes, and they loved watching as they frolicked, played and swam as their mother looked on.

Cake was served in honor of the occasion and the gender of the pups was announced: they're both female!

Zoo Director Keith Lovett told the crowd that they would get the chance to vote for the babies names. The names will be announced tomorrow during the zoo's media day.

If you aren't yet a member of the zoo, watch Seize The Deal this weekend for discounted zoo memberships so you can attend other upcoming members-only events.
