Only Three Lanes Open On The Bourne Bridge Tomorrow Morning

Attention Cape Codders, we all know traffic is bad enough on Thursday mornings, but traffic will be even more impeded tomorrow, so allow some extra time. The Bourne Bridge will be down to three lanes tomorrow morning while electrical work is done according to Cape Cod Today. Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., one of the southbound lanes (coming onto the Cape) will be closed.

The other three lanes will remain open to motorists. The US Army Corps of Engineers who maintain the bridges and the canal say they estimate the work will only take the first half of the day to complete.
