Ryan Tedder, lead singer of OneRepublic, has made more hits for other artists than he has for his own band, but he is back with a possible smash.

When it comes to resumés in the music business, Ryan can name-drop some of the biggest celebrities in the world. Having written and produced for Adele, Beyoncé, Backstreet Boys, and over two dozen other artists, Ryan has no shortage of work.

He has been spending a lot of time writing for so many others that his band hasn't been out with new music in a few years. That break is over, though. A new album called Human will drop on May 8 and they just released the lead single off the album called "Didn't I."

Ryan wants to set the record straight and basically reminds us that there is no NEW music. He says, "We're no respecter of genre. If it's a good song or a good artist whether rock, pop, indie or hip hop, they've probably influenced us on some level...nothing's new under the sun, we're a sum of a bunch of parts."

Damn, speak to me, Ryan! That's deep but so accurate.

I'll admit I'm a little jealous of Ryan's hair. Regardless, we got to know what you think of the catchy lyrics of the new OneRepublic song. Should we add is to the Fun 107 playlist? Is "Didn't I" wicked good to totally whack?
