October 13th, 2015: National “Don’t Wear A Bra” Day

As a guy, I will tread lightly on this subject as to be courteous to all women who may find this day offensive. My objective is to not salute the idea, but to make it aware to the general public.

In relation to Breast Cancer Awareness month, Women are encouraged (not asked) to free themselves of all restrictions a bra may have. In all seriousness, let this be YOUR day. Don't allow the critics and the creeps to interfere, be confident in yourself.

In reality, this is not a day to just let your girls be free, it's the point of recognizing that you have comfort where others may not due to scars or even prosthetics. Mastectomy patients sometimes find security behind the fabrics of cups or shapers that give off the appearance of breast.

This is a day to be comfortable in your own skin and show awareness to the sincerity of breast cancer as being the second leading cause of cancer deaths.

The message of today is to rid your thoughts and mentality of crude sexuality. Today is not meant to be a day of perversion, but rather a day of freedom and awareness.

So let your "girls" breathe today ladies, for some are less fortunate than you are.
