Fairhaven’s Newest Music Venue is Finally Open [PHOTOS]

When it comes to a fun night out with good food and music, one local restaurant is stepping up its game.

Over in Fairhaven is where you'll find the Ice House Sports Bar. Over the years, the owners have upgraded and renovated the restaurant to better serve customers. Just in time for summer, a newly opened expansion is turning heads with a concept you won't find just anywhere.

The Ice House Garage is the latest installment from owner Lars Vinjerud. The multi-purpose space has giant garage doors installed for those warm nights ahead, giving off a comfortable vibe while you're dancing to your favorite local band or DJ.

The hours in the room are 4 p.m. to close Monday through Friday and 11:30 a.m. to close on weekends. The Garage unofficially opened a couple of weeks ago, ahead of the Cinco de Mayo grand opening celebration.

"It's been great so far, people love it," manager Aaron Hyslope told Fun 107. "All the garage doors open up to bring a whole new vibe into the room. It's been a long time coming."

The room seats 50 people comfortably.
