If you have become obsessed with HBO's The Gilded Age, then this overnight stay in Newport is for you.

The Castle Hill Inn on Ocean Avenue recently launched a Gilded Age Experience package that will have guests feeling like a Russell or a Van Rhijn in no time.

This waterfront mansion-turned-hotel is the perfect place to immerse yourself in all things 1880s. The mansion was built in 1875 for marine biologist and naturalist Alexander Agassiz of Harvard University as a summer home and it is still full of summer vibes.

The ocean air breezes through nearly all the overnight rooms, not to mention the epic summer lunches the hotel offers on its sprawling lawn.

Of course this is an overnight stay in a Newport mansion, so the price tag is a bit hefty. Though you can't say Castle Hill Inn doesn't offer some bang for your buck. The Gilded Age package includes a two-night stay at the inn, a gourmet breakfast (in bed ala Mrs. Russell?), and afternoon tea plus a welcome amenity upon arrival. Your stay also includes two tickets to any Newport Preservation Society Mansion and a tasting menu dinner in the Castle Hill Inn dining room.

It all sounds super fancy and very Gilded Age.

Though I'm sure this is intended as a romantic weekend away or anniversary celebration, I think it would be a great girls' weekend idea too. An excuse to dress up, act fancy and sip tea with my pinkie out always sounds like a good time to me.

Speaking of fancy, check out this Newport mansion with the biggest swimming pool in Rhode Island

An amazing Newport mansion just steps from the Cliff Walk has hit the market and it actually comes with everything still inside. So could you picture yourself literally living among these stunning rooms?
