Love authentic Mexican food? Then you'll be thrilled to know another El Mariachi location is coming soon!

El Mariachi is a popular authentic Mexican restaurant with locations already up and running in Seekonk, Taunton and Easton. And now the business is growing again.

Jose Lopez, who owns the existing El Mariachi locations, has put the wheels in motion for a fourth location in downtown Wareham. He has leased the building known as Webster Hall at 207 Main St, started initial construction and has loose plans to open by March.

Lopez's nephew Luis Contreas will be running the Wareham location and tells WarehamVillageSoup.com,

I’m in love with the location.”

They plan to keep the building, which was built in 1859, close to what people remember. They say they have added a half-wall to separate the bar from the dining room, but that will likely be the most significant change they make to the building.

The menu won't be changing either. If you already have tried El Mariachi in one of their other locations, you can expect the same delicious ensaladas, enchiladas, chimichangas, margaritas and more when they come to downtown Wareham.
