New Coffee Shop in Wareham Allows Dogs Inside
Dog Days Coffee in Onset just got the thumbs up from the Board of Health for a doggy friendly atmosphere inside their shop.
According to Wareham Village Soup, Tracy Knowles, owner of Dog Days has recieved the approval from board members to amend a health code and allow dogs to rest indoors while their owners buy some coffee.
Knowles, who also owns the tattoo parlor Sinners & Saints with her husband said the goal of this cafe was to come up with a place for dog lovers and hopefully liven up downtown Onset.
10% of the stores proceeds go to Mission K9 Rescue, an organization that helps retired military dogs find good homes. The business is owned and operated by military veterans or family members of veterans and each coffee blend is named after a canine war veteran.
The cafe is located at 2 W Central Ave. and is open Monday- Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and get yourself a delicious cup of joe and don't forget to bring your dog too! A cool way to hang with friends and play dates for the pups 😊
